Global Sales Director
20+ years in the Leisure Marine Industry with focus on US and EU markets. Managing a remote ‘in field’ sales team has allowed me to develop a unique six step sales process that enables our team to grow our market share efficiently and strategically. The development of unique market analysis tools have also provided a clear picture for product development opportunities within the Marine Industry. My technical background has been a critical part of sales development and has allowed me to provide a strong platform for consultative selling.
USA Sales - Carolinas
Ron is well established in the Marine market in the Carolinas. Based in Charleston he is in close proximity to many OEM customers and is well placed to provide sales and technical support.
Sales - France
John joined the marine industry in 1983 with the electronics company Seafarer in Poole. John had done a lot of sailing prior to this and was a Yacht master Instructors and also navigating on Ted Heath’s Morning Cloud. At Seafarers John travelled throughout the UK and French markets and as a French speaker was able to maximise sales in France.
In 1986 John started his own consultancy helping manufacturers to sell their products in Europe. Spinlock was his first client and within 2 years they were supplying all the major French boat builders direct from UK. Navico then asked John to help them and he worked throughout Europe setting up and improving sales channels. Since then John’s clients have included high profile companies such as Oceanair and Whale Pumps. John is now mainly retired but very happy to be helping Nixon Marine Global establish the company as a substantial commercial force in the industry.
Marketing and Communications
With over 6 years experience of working in the marine industry, Sheila has experience of a full spectrum of marketing and communications for accessories manufacturers. With experience in new product development, marketing category management of over 1000 product, event management and driving international marketing campaigns Sheila is delighted to be working with Nixon Marine Global providing support for both the NMG team and the brands they work with.
Accounts & Administration
With over 20 years’ experience in administrative and management roles in both the private and public sector Rachel brings fantastic organisational skills to the table and is dedicated to exceeding our customer expectations. Having worked in North America and Germany she understands the varied needs of our global customers.
Rachel manages all the operational functions of Nixon Marine Global including finance and administration. She has a particular interest in cloud based finance and CRM packages that are being used to constantly increase our efficiency and ensure a timely sales reporting structure for our customers through our six step sales process.
